I actually burst into tears when I received the phone call from Qld Music. They were joyful tears, the good news was most welcome. It certainly helps validate our move home to regional Queensland with such an awesome opportunity for regional songbirds only.

This July I will be performing on stage with the fabulous all female Australian line up Deborah Conway, Clare Bowditch and Hannah Macklin (MKO). Deborah is like Aussie music royalty so its kind of a big deal!

Being chosen as one of four finalists in the Songs That Made Me regional QLD artist initiative, I will be doing a master class with the musical goddesses mentioned above. Also part of the program was the opportunity to workshop my original music with the one and only Katie Noonan, local songstress and international Jazz superstar Kristen Berardi and the creative powerhouse that is Leigh Carriage. So much new knowledge and nurturing have given me massive boost of energy and inspiration. Bring it on!!
